A one to one machine basics session lasts approximately 2-3 hours, and the session covers the following:
- what each part of the sewing machine does
- changing a needle
- basic cleaning of the machine
- threading the machine (incl winding a bobbin)
- learn how to use your machine to make a fabric basket project using different techniques (working with interfacing, stitching, making boxed corners, bagging out, and top stitching)
A one to one mini session last approximately 1.5 hours, and is a perfect follow on from a machine basics session, or if you already know how to thread your machine etc. Choose from one of the following projects:
- Fleece Neck Warmer
- Lined Zipped Bag
- Banded Headband
- Japanese Knot Bag
- Peg Bag
- Wide Brimmed Hat
- Jersey Headband
- Boxed Zipped Bag
- Tote Bag

One to one sessions can be held within your home (local to the Trimsaran area) or at mine
50p per mile charged to travel to your home (free if in Trimsaran area within 5 miles)
Adults only due to insurance restrictions
Payment links will be sent 7-10 days prior to a one to one lesson taking place, and payment must be received 5 working days prior to the lesson booking.
If for any reason I have to cancel the one to one lesson, you will be notified immediately and offered an alternative date to transfer to, or a full refund will be given.
If for any reason you have to cancel, I would kindly ask that you please let me know within 48 hours of the one to one lesson. If you cancel with short notice I will be unable to book anyone else in for a one to one lesson, and therefore you will only be refunded half the cost of the one to one lesson.
